From the Presenter:
Jeff Jones the Pittsboro Town Planner
Jeff presented the Pittsboro Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.
- Highlights: There are no cliff notes for the plan. You need to go on-line and skim it to find the parts that will affect you.
- And the changes the plan envisions WILL affect how your customers will drive to parking and then walk to your business.
- The changes in the plan will affect how your customers/visitors will be able to bike to your location.
- You need to review the part of the plan that will affect your business location and, if you live in the greater Pittsboro metropolitan area, how the plan will affect where you live.
- Your comments (and you should have some) can be sent to: Jeff Jones at [email protected].
- Jeff talked about sidewalks at various locations around town and the widening of Hillsboro and the changes in the circle. Jeff did a great job!
