Who We Are
The Pittsboro Business Association is a membership-driven organization that promotes member businesses and positions Pittsboro as a tourist destination in the heart of North Carolina.
Pittsboro and Chatham County are poised for unprecedented growth. This presents a tremendous opportunity for businesses.
By advocating for our members, encouraging local spending, and engaging town and county governments, we can drive economic vitality.
It’s an exciting time to be in Chatham County. Join us as we put our resources together to shape the future for our town.
What We Do
Business Promotion
Through marketing efforts, the PBA raises the visibility of member businesses for residential and visiting consumers.
Pittsboro First Sunday
The PBA hosts monthly First Sunday Artisan Fairs March-December that bring music, food, vendors and shoppers downtown.
Downtown Revitalization
As a liaison between the town of Pittsboro and the small business community, the PBA participates in planning for downtown reinvestment efforts.
Town Outreach
In addition to regularly updating the town and influencing policy on behalf of businesses, we organize periodic socials with the Pittsboro Town Board so business owners can meet their local elected officials.
Tourism
Working with the Pittsboro-Siler City Convention and Visitors Bureau, the PBA distributes its promotional material to North Carolina’s Welcome Centers and Jordan Lake State Recreation Area.
And more!
As our organization grows, so do our outreach efforts. We have several committees that members volunteer on to make things happen, and we always welcome new faces and ideas!
