American Revolution Tour of NC and Annual Member Meeting
February 20, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The “American Revolution Tour of North Carolina™” is a free online guide exploring more than 90 sites related to the Revolution and Regulators. AmRevNC.com covers not only battles, but stories of protests, personal heroism, women, minorities, and more. Background pages summarize the history of the war, biographies, and military life. Research for the website turned up events and details either forgotten, even by historical organizations, or not widely known. AmRevNC’s founder and author will point out how to get the most value from the website, and then share stories about the project and locations in our region, with an emphasis on Chatham County people and events. Audience questions will guide the rest of the conversation.
