Dedication of Tommy Edwards Stage at Mosaic Family Commons
Mosaic Family Commons 60 Mosaic Blvd, PittsboroMOSAIC at Chatham Park will dedicate its stage to Bluegrass Legend Tommy Edwards in celebration of his vibrant musical spirit in this community on Friday, October 15th as part of MOSAIC Comes Alive! concert, featuring Chatham Rabbits + Shay Martin Lovette. A much-loved musician, educator, coach, mentor, guitar player, singer, arts advocate, radio host, and bluegrass entertainer, Edwards passed away in May 2021. Many musicians respected and admired his picking, his songwriting, and his passion for music, including the @chatham_rabbits who will join the Tommy Edwards Bluegrass Experience in playing three songs in his memory immediately following the stage dedication. We hope you can join us for this very special evening at the MOSAIC Family Commons near 60 Mosaic Blvd, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The concert begins at 5pm; the lawn opens at 4pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Food + beverage available for purchase.
