Egg Hunt at Huckleberry Trail Farm
Huckleberry Trail Farm 143 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Siler CityHuck is working with Carolina Cravings Co. and Quiltmaker Cafe on a community fund raiser. Come and egg-plore the farm Sunday April 2, from 12-4. We will be hosting 4 FREE Easter Egg hunts for all the kiddos and lots of other free activities. We will be taking donations for The Quiltmaker Café, a nonprofit, fast-casual restaurant coming to Pittsboro, offering tasty meals and Free-Will pricing to guests. Their mission is to provide healthy meals to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. Enjoy many activities in the * Easter Egg Hunt * Hay ride * Walk the path in the corn/winter wheat field to read about The Story of Easter * Sack races * Egg-and-spoon races * Egg coloring * Egg toss (for older kids and adults) * Gaga-ball * Wiffle-ball * Many photo ops, including the Easter Bunny * Lots more!!! It will be a most EGG-CELLENT time for everyone!!! Egg hunts start at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 sharp. We ask all participants to show up 15 minutes before their scheduled egg hunt starts. Eggstreme Spring Fling
Central Carolina Community College 764 West St., PittsboroThe EGGstreme Spring Fling has been rescheduled due to weather (rain and high winds) for Sunday, April 2, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. We are condensing the event, due to the reschedule and the event will primarily consist of the egg hunt, in addition to glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, hula hoops, and some vendors! New Schedule: 1:30pm 0–3-year-old Egg Hunt 1:45pm 4-6-year-old Egg Hunt 2:00pm 7-9-year-old Egg Hunt 2:15pm 10+ year-old Egg Hunt Be sure to bring your Easter Basket to collect your eggs! Courthouse Reopening 10-year Anniversary
Historic Chatham County Courthouse 9 Hillsboro St., PittsboroThe Chatham County Courthouse burned March 25, 2010. It reopened April 20, 2013, as the Historic Courthouse with the Chatham County Museum. 2023 is the 10th Anniversary of the Historic Courthouse Reopening. Join us to hear Grimsley and Taylor Hobbs, the architects who rebuilt the building, talk about the process of reclaiming and restoring the building after the devastating fire that consumed the interior. After the Program, join us downstairs for light refreshments to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Reopening of the wonderful, restored building and Museum. April 2nd is also First Sunday in downtown Pittsboro so there will be lots to do before and after the Program.
