Thrown Together: A Pottery Exhibition

W. M. Hewitt Pottery is delighted to announce an exhibition to be held in conjunction with @nceca @nceca.rva “Thrown Together: Tradition, Apprenticeship, and Individualism,” March 19-23, 2024 in Richmond, VA. Mark Hewitt and his North Carolina based former apprentices continue to improvise within a vibrant Southern aesthetic. Please check the event's website for details.

Chatham Historical Society at the Chatham AgFest

Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center 1192 US-64 BUS, Pittsboro

Chatham County's Ag Fest is coming up on Saturday, March 23 from 10 to 3 at the County Agriculture and Conference Center. Look for Chatham County Historical Association volunteers there -- out back by the smokehouse. We'll be sharing some Chatham history and hoping to hear what you know about Chatham's story. Volunteers will also be keeping the Chatham Historical Museum open in the courthouse in Pittsboro, so plan to stop by before or after you visit Ag Fest for a tour of the museum and courthouse. We'll be open from 10 - 3.
