Basic home mead making class. Learn about how to make a small batch of mead, the equipment needed, and the techniques for ensuring success. Each participant will take home a one-gallon batch of mead to finish at home. Attendees will learn the basics of mead making. You will be taken step by step through the process of making a “cyser” (honey and apple). You will learn how to properly sanitize and what equipment is needed to make a great homemade mead! You will take home your own gallon of mead, made during the class, with instructions on what to do with it when you get home. No mead making experience necessary.

Please confirm event times before leaving home. PUMC's Church at the Lake event will be held on Saturday, October 12th at Parker's Creek Shelter #4 next to the beach access. Sunday services will be held as normal in the FLC-9am and Sanctuary-11am.
