September 28/29- ASNC Fundraising Weekend Huck is excited to be hosting another fundraising weekend for the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC). During this weekend, a portion of admissions collected will be donated to the Autism Society. We are also offering families of the Autism Society a discounted admission. We will have some designated “quiet areas” in the farmyard and down the hill. This weekend is open to everyone so please come out and enjoy a great day at Huckleberry Trail Farm. October 5/6 – Huck’s Feed the Hungry Weekend Sponsored by Piggly Wiggly. All who come to the farm and bring a can of food will be given $1.00 off* the admission price to the farm. If you come out with 2 adults and 3 kids, bring 5 cans and get $1 off each admission!! Huck will then donate this food to Chatham Counties own CORA food bank. Remember to bring a can for each person attending! *Cannot be combined with any other discounts October 12/13 – Who’s Your Huckleberry Weekend Teachers, First Responders, Doctors, Nurses, Mental Health Providers and Military Service personnel (former and current) are admitted free with a paid admission (must show an official ID). Daniel Wallace is the author of six novels, including Big Fish, which was adapted and released as a movie and a Broadway musical. He is the J. Ross MacDonald Distinguished Professor of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She received the Yankee Quill Award and Mary Garber Pioneer Award and was a Nieman Fellow and a Prudential Fellow at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. William A. (“Sandy”) Darity Jr. is the Samuel DuBois Cook Professor of Public Policy, African and African American Studies, and Economics and the director of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University. He has served as chair of the Department of African and African American Studies and was the founding director of the Research Network on Racial and Ethnic Inequality at Duke.
