Dedication of Tommy Edwards Stage at Mosaic Family Commons

MOSAIC at Chatham Park will dedicate its stage to Bluegrass Legend Tommy Edwards in celebration of his vibrant musical spirit in this community on Friday, October 15th as part of MOSAIC Comes Alive! concert, featuring Chatham Rabbits + Shay Martin Lovette. A much-loved musician, educator, coach, mentor, guitar player, singer, arts advocate, radio host, and bluegrass entertainer, Edwards passed away in May 2021. Many musicians respected and admired his picking, his songwriting, and his passion for music, including the @chatham_rabbits who will join the Tommy Edwards Bluegrass Experience in playing three songs in his memory immediately following the stage dedication. We hope you can join us for this very special evening at the MOSAIC Family Commons near 60 Mosaic Blvd, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The concert begins at 5pm; the lawn opens at 4pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Food + beverage available for purchase.

Free Chatham Chuckwagon Frozen Meal pickup

The Free Chatham Chuckwagon Frozen Main course is held Tuesday 5:00-6:30. Drivethru pickup is at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal. ** Please note that beginning on Tuesday November 9th, we will change our pickup time to 4:30 to 6:00. This weeks meal was prepared by a combined effort from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Pittsboro Presbyterian Church. Tuesday Nov 3rd our meal will be sliced boneless chicken thighs in a creamy lemon thyme sauce. We encourage all who come to think about those you could help. You are welcome to pickup entrees to bring them. Each vacuum packed bag holds two generous servings. Chuckwagon entrees are precooked, vacuum packed and frozen. Easy to prepare when you’re ready. Drive west on Hanks St. you’ll reach the “T” intersection and see the blue tent. We hope to see you.
