Arkansas Pondstockers is coming again!  They stop here about once a month April through October.  Bring a cooler or something comparable to tote bags of fish;  they'll handle the rest!  We provide the space, but all sales occur through Arkansas Pondstockers.  Any inquiries should be made directly to Arkansas Pondstockers at 800-247-2615.

Brenda Linton and Tony Sullivan 8:00 to 10:30pm Brenda Linton, vocals and guitarist Tony Sullivan of Sullivan Music in Pittsboro performed together in the 70s and 80s while both were based in the Nashville,TN area. They joined forces once more to play some of their old favorites. They play all kinds of music from folk, roots and blues to create songs that are haunting yet gutsy. Tony says, “anything we can pull off with just acoustic guitars.” Brenda’s wide range of vocal abilities and effortless connect with the audience results in a live performance that is both uplifting and moving. Linton leaves listeners mesmerized by the purity of voice and musical spirit. Tony compliments Brenda with his excellent talent on the guitar. Barney’s Food Truck 7:00 to 9:00pm

Food and Drink 8 a.m. Chatham Marketplace, a deli serving breakfast and lunch, including pre-packaged food and sushi 9 a.m. Cafe Diem a coffee and tea house opens 10 a.m. Carolina Brewery opens for brunch and lunch kick off 10 a.m. Pittsboro Roadhouse opens for brunch and lunch Music 5-9 p.m. Concerts for a Cause at Fair Game Beverage Co. (tickets) Artist Openings Joyful Jewel: Featured artist reception: Stacy Lewis: Motley Beasts (painting) 1-3 p.m. Ralph Earle book reading 4 - 5 p.m. The Way the Rain Works Liquidambar Gallery: Featured artist reception: Linda Person (clap sculpture). Music by Avis Autry 2-4 p.m. Children's Activities The kids’ play area, sponsored by Pittsboro United Methodist Church, is located in the Pittsboro Roadhouse parking lot.
