Our speaker will be Chris Kennedy, Pittboro's new town manager! After: Chris talked about his professional background and current goals for the future of Pittsboro. He wants to continue to develop Pittsboro's "sense of place." Challenges that have his immediate attention are getting the systems running smoothly again. We have some people working as interim leaders and some open positions. Our sewer capacity needs to be improved. The team is working with the DOT about the traffic circle improvements. Protecting and developing the downtown area is important. Chris is working with the planning department on completing the UDO and making progress on the new Town Hall.
