The Spring Ag Fest is a celebration of Chatham County’s agriculture, forestry, and natural resources. The event will offer something for everyone: livestock events, exhibits, demonstrations, food trucks, and more. This event is made possible by the collaborative efforts of Chatham County Cooperative Extension, Chatham County Soil & Water, Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center, and the Chatham County Farm Bureau. Performed at the Pittsboro Roadhouse, two performances. LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE is a play written by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. It is organized as a series of monologues and scenes and uses a rotating cast of women. The subject matter of the segments includes women’s relationships and wardrobes and, at times, the interaction of the two, using the female wardrobe as a time capsule of a woman’s life. The original 2008-2010 production received positive critical attention, and the show has been produced on six continents and in more than eight countries, and had a U.S. national tour in 2011. Due to content, recommended age is 13+.

Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) is hosting a microchip clinic at Pittsboro Pet Supply on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00am-1:00pm! With so many lost pets in Chatham County, be sure to keep yours protected with something as simple as a microchip linked to your name! We will be offering two specials in store that day to celebrate!
