Love, Loss, and What I Wore Fundraiser for Second Bloom

Performed at the Pittsboro Roadhouse, two performances. LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE is a play written by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. It is organized as a series of monologues and scenes and uses a rotating cast of women. The subject matter of the segments includes women’s relationships and wardrobes and, at times, the interaction of the two, using the female wardrobe as a time capsule of a woman’s life. The original 2008-2010 production received positive critical attention, and the show has been produced on six continents and in more than eight countries, and had a U.S. national tour in 2011. Due to content, recommended age is 13+.

First Sunday April

On the first Sunday of the month from April through December from 12-5 p.m., downtown hosts the Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair & Market. This family-friendly event has live music, food trucks and dozens of vendors selling art, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, soaps, pottery and more.
