Sunday, February 28, 7-8:15 pm: Relax, Relate & Release This is a restorative yoga class themed around healing and unity to wrap up our Black History Month series. We'll begin with a short talk about the conversations we've had and some takeaways from this series. We'll finish by going deeply inward for a peaceful restorative practice. Have pillows & blankets ready. Restorative yoga involves placing the body in very comfortable, supportive postures that will allow for gentle relaxation and releasing of tension in the body.  Cierra and Chelsea lead the discussion, Jessica Palmer-Gwaltney leads our restorative yoga practice.

A Group inspired by the Adopt a High School Senior movement across the country. During these hard times, we need to find a positive outlet. Let's not lose sight of the young adults that have had so much taken from them due to COVID-19. Come together to make our High School Seniors feel important. We can become their extended family. Post your Seniors so that we can help give the Class of 2021 a big boost! Members of this Group: pick a Senior, pick two, pick three, reach out to them in any way possible to celebrate with them in their accomplishments. February exercise orientation classes. Duke Center for Living is scheduling small group (3 people) exercise orientation classes this month: Our February Small Group Orientation schedule is out! What is it? An introduction to the exercise equipment and a chance to learn the exercise recommendations from the American College of Sports Medicine. What to bring? Your questions and possibly a notebook. How much does it cost? It's free! Space is limited to 3 members, registration required through the Online Member Portal or Member Services.
