For our second Third Thursday, July 16th, come out for a great time at the Fair Game bottle shop and bar. At 6 pm, join our distiller Chris for a tour of the distillery, then classical guitarist Daniel Stanislawek will regale your eardrums with Latin and flamenco guitar. Come hungry, because we'll be letting you whip up your own brand of crazy with a free (free!) build-your-own taco bar, plus we'll be selling delicious summertime libations to quench your thirst. Remember those beer taps we got last month? Yep, they're still pouring fresh draft beer, plus we'll have the wine cocktails you know and love us for.

Abundance NC: Drink ‘n Thinks: Session Three – Vinyl & Cocktail

Abundance Foundation 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, NC, United States

an Abundance DIY Sustainability Workshop with Tom Maxwell, Gary Phillips and Dr. Colbey Reid Sunday, July 19, 2015  6-8pm, includes two cocktails. Located at the Plant, 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, NC. For directions, click here. Delve into the magic of cocktails and their totemic accouterments! Glittering glassware, delicate swizzles, gleaming shakers, and elegant dresses all set the stage for the mixed potion’s transmogrifications. What metamorphoses will be yours? Session Three: Vinyl & Cocktail  Vinyl and cocktails became almost inseparable by the mid-twentieth-century, when these particular mechanisms of food and drink became key components in human social gatherings. At the final session in the Summer Drink n’ Think series, Fair Game will invite a Triangle musician to select a favorite record to share and pair with an ideal listening-cocktail. Interspersing commentary with original music, sipping, and storytelling we’ll reenact one of the most hospitable conventions of the American mid-century. REGISTER HERE
