On Thursday, October 15, the Chatham Catalyst reception will honor three families who have made significant contributions in Chatham County. The reception will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Garden Terrace at Fearrington Village. Tickets include passed hor d'ooeuvres and beer and wine. The Opportunity Chatham breakfast meeting is Friday, October 16 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Barn at Fearrington. Chris Chung, CEO of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, will be this year’s keynote speaker. Chung will discuss his efforts leading the state’s new privatized economic development group. Each season, several people from the community give presentations that challenge people to think differently about the environment, culture and each other. Presenters each have 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide to discuss. Slides are automatically timed to be exactly 20 seconds with the total time for each presenter is 6 minutes and 40 seconds. This keeps the pace fun & exciting. WINTER 2015 PRESENTERS LINE UP IS HERE!
