On Sunday, November 20, Pittsboro gathered together to kick-off the holiday season with our 8th Annual Pittsboro Holly Days Tree Lighting Celebration. Attendees were entertained by local school groups, dance companies and our youth theater. There was even a visit from the Grinch. Fortunately, Santa was there to help maintain the merriment, since no tree lighting would be complete without him to greet folks and light the tree with a sprinkle of his magic Christmas dust.
The Pittsboro Business Association wishes to thank the performers and all who came out to celebrate with us, as well as thank those who helped make this event possible:
Phillips Farms of Chatham who graciously donated the beautiful, majestic, 19′ tree.
